404 Game Center: ars●bit Selection — Featuring CultureHouse and PIGGY ONE SUPER SPARK

The cross-disciplinary creator support project ars●bit presents “404 Game Center: ars●bit Selection,” an ongoing exhibition program introducing the work and activities of its supported creators at 404 Not Found, on the fourth floor of Shibuya Sakura Stage in Tokyo.

ars●bit supports not only the completion of individual works, but also the development of spaces and scenes where those works can reach audiences and lead to new opportunities. With exhibitions updated periodically, playable experiences and related visuals introduce each creator’s practice and the wider development of the project throughout the year.

Featured Works

This presentation features CultureHouse by Futurala and PIGGY ONE SUPER SPARK by Hanabushi × hako 生活. Both works are also featured in Anima Ludens, presented as a main program of Festival Octobre Numérique 2026 in Arles, France.

CultureHouse is an adventure game set in the residence and research facility of a missing scientist. Players cultivate mysterious lifeforms as the project seeks to draw them into a calm yet unsettling space and story. PIGGY ONE SUPER SPARK combines the exhilarating speed of a 2D side-scrolling action game with a journey that unfolds like a road movie, brought to life through pop-inspired, colorful art.

From spaces inspired by architecture and surrealism to characters and worlds developed through illustration and animation, the two works offer different ways to encounter the expressive possibilities of games and play.

Experience this ongoing experiment in bringing the diverse practices of indie creators into an arcade-style exhibition space.
