YOHSUKE TAKAHASHI
Curator.
After serving as Senior Curator at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa (2014–2021) and as Chief Curator at the Kadokawa Musashino Museum (2021–2023), he became an independent curator. He is currently a lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts and a committee member of the “Molecular Robot Ethics Research Group” at the ELSI Research Institute for Advanced Science and Technology.
Among his major curatorial projects is Ghost in the Cell (2015–2016, toured to Ars Electronica), which recreated Hatsune Miku’s beating heart cells using iPS technology and attracted over 300,000 visitors.
His recent projects include SF Kyogen: Mono no Aware (an official affiliated program of Expo 2025 Osaka), Emi Kusano: Ego in the Shell (an official collaboration with Ghost in the Shell, Offline Gallery, New York), and Technology and the Sublime (GYRE, 2025).
