NILGIRI

Nilgiri is a game artist who creates works rooted in board games that transform how people perceive everyday life and others through rules. Seeing games as devices that generate relationships, Nilgiri has created works such as First Grade Game, which brings living space and game space into alignment; Quoki, in which past selves pose quizzes to future selves; and How to Reconcile with the City, in which people and the city play together. In Is This a Game? Exhibition, where Nilgiri serves as organizer, curator, and artist, they have established an experimental platform for presenting works that cross between games and art.
